The FreezaBird App works together with your FreezaBird device to record and measure your driving behaviour. This allows us to offer you an insurance policy for your demands and needs whilst also giving you insights into your driving habits to encourage responsible and safe driving.
The app will record all trips where you have declared yourself as the driver and will provide you with trip and weekly scores. All trips and weekly scores are categorised under a traffic light system:
Green – low risk
Amber – medium risk
Red – high risk
Please use the information we provide you via the app to understand and improve your driving behaviour. Continuous Red weekly scores will result in you entering the Supervision Process where you can be at risk of having your insurance policy cancelled – please read all the insurance policy documentation we provide you for more details on this.
It is also important that you enable all required app permissions in order for the app and device to work properly – these are covered in the app setup. If you disable the required app permissions, your insurance policy is invalidated and you are not insured to drive – messages in the app will highlight this to you so it is important to ensure all required app permissions are enabled correctly. Remember it is an offence in the UK to drive whilst uninsured.
